James Corcoran (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville) were on the mound … Mannella is 1-1 this season with six appearances totaling eight innings and has tallied five strikeouts while allowing just four runs (two earned) on 10 hits … Jeffers, currently 1-4, is second on the team in innings pitched (26.1) and has a team-best 10 strikeouts … Corcoran recently picked up his first collegiate win against Keuka College in a game two, 9-7, win … He has five appearances this season where he totaled 5.2 innings of work while fanning three.
Scouting the Host Ducks: Stevens currently occupies an overall record of 18-16 including a 4-8 mark in the Empire 8 … The Ducks have won four of their last six including a 6-3 win on Tuesday, in 11 innings, to Banuch College in New York City … In E8 action, SIT split a pair of doubleheaders with St. John Fisher back in late March before being swept by No. 28 Ithaca College in early April … Most recently, Stevens split a four-game set with Houghton (4/12/13-4/13/13) winning the first and last game in shut out fashion by scores off 3-0 and 4-0.
