Box Score Buffalo, NY (9/10/13)- The Utica College women's soccer team got back on track as it tied host D'Youville College, 2-2, in a non-conference match Tuesday night.

The Pioneers took a 1-0 lead at 1:28 as senior Samantha Matthews (Valley Falls, NY/Tamarac) scored off a header, assisted by classmate Sarah Southwell (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy).
D'Youville battled back as it was able to net goals in the 31st and 40th minute.  However, an own goal by the Torjans in the 63rd minute knotted the game for the Pioneers.  Despite an extra 30 minutes of play, neither team was able to score the winner.

Freshman Jamie Enders (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) made seven saves in 81 minutes of work, while sophomore Kelly Heimerle (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) had one save in 29 minutes in net.  D'Youville's Christina Ventresca made seven saves in net for the Trojans.

UC returns to action Friday as it travels to Oswego for a match up against the Lakers.  Game time is set for 4 p.m.
