Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) paced the Pioneers with a double-double on 14 points and game-high 11 boards.
UC drops to 4-7 overall and 1-2 in E8 play while the Bombers move their overall mark to 9-4 including 2-1 in league action. The Pioneers return to action Monday as they play host to SUNY Cobleskill. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at the Clark Athletic Center. The Bombers remain on the road as they travel to St. John Fisher Friday, Jan. 14 for an E8 battle with the Cardinals set for 8 p.m. in Rochester, NY.
IC opened up with a nine-point lead over the first four minutes to take a 14-5 lead at 16:51. UC fought back pulling to within three points, 16-13, at 13:01 before the visitors settled and ran with an 18-7 strut over the next ten minutes pushing to a 34-20 advantage with just over four minutes until the break. The Bombers would close out the first 20 minutes of play with a 17 point cushion, 40-23.
Ithaca moved to a 20 point lead within the first seven minutes of second half action with the score showing 52-32 at 13:38. The Pioneers worked back into the game creeping to within 11 points over the next 10 plus minutes but could not muster enough due double-digit turnovers as they were routed by 22 points.

Samantha Stayer (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone) leading the way with 14 points and seven boards.
Kelsey Cowell (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen) and
Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk) combined for 21 points however also totaled 11 turnovers in the loss.
Ithaca's Mary Kate Tierney posted a game-high 19 points to guide Ithaca while Whitesboro native Francesca Cotrupe added 12 points, seven boards and two assists to lift the visiting Bombers to victory.
