Clinton, NY (October 1, 2014) - The Hamilton College women's soccer team (7-2-0) won its fourth straight game Wednesday afternoon, blanking visiting Utica (4-4-1) 5-0 at Love Field.
Kelly Heimerle (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) made four saves in goal for the Pioneers, who lost their third consecutive game.
The Continentals posted their second shutout in four days, outshooting the Pioneers 22-3. Halle Becker '15 scored six points on two goals and two assists and Ali Clarke '17 led Hamilton with three assists.
The Pioneers return from their four game road trip back to the friendly confines of Charles A. Gaetano Stadium on Saturday when they host St. John Fisher College in a key Empire 8 Conference contest at 1 p.m.
Hamilton returns to NESCAC competition Saturday, playing a noon game at Amherst; the Lord Jeffs are ranked 11th nationally.
