Utica, NY (10/14/14) – The Utica College women's soccer team is set to host Empire 8 foe Alfred University on Saturday as part of the College's homecoming festivities. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.

Alana Fitzpatrick (Cheshire, CT/Holy Cross) leads the Pioneers with 11 points and 31 shots … She is tied for first on the team with four goals and she has racked up three assists on the season.
DOING IT ALL: Freshman
Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) leads the team and ranks third in the Empire 8 with four assists and she is third on the squad with two goals… Berkowitz has also stepped in between the pipes the last two games and has collected 16 saves.
GAME WINNERS: Senior
Maddisen Melley (Wappingers Falls, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) is third in the conference with three game-winning goals… Her four total goals rank seventh in the E8 and she is fourth on the team with ten shots.
SCOUTING THE SAXONS: Alfred University is 3-9-2 overall and is 1-4-1 on the road … The Saxons are led by forward Mariana Crevison, who has four goals and goalie Sammy Jo Shanahan, who has a .814 save percentage … Alfred University has ten players with at least one point this season.
LAST TIME AGAINST ALFRED UNIVERSITY: UC beat Alfred 2-1 last year (10/13/13) … The Pioneers were led by two second half goals from
Krystine Alvear (Ossining, NY/Ossining) and
