Utica, NY (10/30/14) – The Utica College women's soccer team will wrap up the season Saturday as it hosts Elmira College for UC's Senior Night. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.

THE LAST TIMEOUT: The Pioneers were shutout 3-0 Saturday afternoon against Nazareth College… UC conceded a late first half goal to give Naz a lead at half … The Golden Flyers then tacked on two more goals to help secure the victory … Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) faced 17 shots on goal and saved 14 of them.
 
SENIOR SENDOFF: UC will say goodbye to three players on Senior Night … Alana Fitzpatrick (Cheshire, CT/Holy Cross) is tied for the team lead with 14 points (five goals, four assists) … Fitzpatrick has tallied 25 points in 31 games over the last two seasons for the Orange and Blue… Jenna Hughes (Brookfield, NY/Brookfield) is the active leader in career games played, with 54...  She has tallied three goals and three assists for nine points… Katie Matloff (Grafton, MA/Grafton) Matloff has played in 20 games for the Pioneers, netting one goal.
 
ALL AROUND BERKOWITZ: Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) has continued to impress in her freshman campaign … Berkowitz is tied for first on the squad with four assists and has made the transition to goalie the past several games … She racked up a season best 14 saves against Nazareth (10/25/14) and is 1-4 in the net … The freshman also has two goals on the season ranking her third on the team.
 
SCOUTING THE SOARING EAGLES: Elmira is 6-6-3 (2-3-2 Empire 8) overall and 3-4 on the road … Elmira is coming off a 1-0 shutout victory over Alfred University … The Soaring Eagles are led by a cast of players, 12 of whom have tallied at least one point … Elmira has three players tied with three goals on the year. 
 
LAST TIME AGAINST ELMIRA: UC was shutout 3-0 last year against Elmira (9/21/13) … The Pioneers posted 12 shots to Elmira's 25 … Utica kept the game close heading into the second half with the score tied 0-0, however the Soaring Eagles then scored three straight goals to take home the win.
