Utica, NY (2/28/14)- Three members of the Utica College women's hockey team were named to the ECAC West All-Conference teams, released Thursday.  Senior Megan Myers (Las Vegas, NV/LA Selects) was a second-team All-Conference selection, while freshmen Gabrielle Schnepp (Northville, MI/Belle Tire) and Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) were named to the All-Rookie team.

Myers is making her fourth straight appearance on the All-Conference squad, after being named to the first-team the past two seasons.  The 2013 CCM All-American has led the team in scoring in each of her four seasons.  She is currently eighth in the nation with 1.40 points per game and leads all Pioneers in goals (18) assists (17) and points (35).  She is second on the College's career scoring list with 139 points (73 goals, 66 assists) in 102 games.  Myers needs just one goal to tie All-American and Pioneer Hall of Famer, Deana Wiegand '07 for most all-time. 

Schnepp, who is in the midst of a fantastic freshman campaign, is currently second on the team with 27 points (15 goals, 12 assists).  Her 1.08 points per game is tied for fourth nationally in rookie scoring and she trails only ECAC West Rookie of the Year, Jordan Ott, in freshmen scoring in the conference.  She has had seven multi-point games this year.  Classmate Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) is one of two goalies named to the All-Rookie team.  She has compiled a .944 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average this season.  

UC finished fourth in the conference with a 16-8-1 overall record and a 9-6-1 mark in the ECAC West.  The Pioneers will make their 12 post-season appearance in the program's 13-year history on Sunday as they host SUNY Potsdam in the ECAC West Quarterfinal.  Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
