Maddisen Melley (Wappingers Falls, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) netted two goals, including the game-winner in the 107th minute to lift The Utica College women's Soccer team to a 3-2 double-overtime victory over Keuka College Sunday at the Erinn K Brozman Cup hosted by Hartwick College. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 2-0 on the season.

Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) got things going at 15:44 of the first half as she beat Keuka keeper, Kenna Kosinski, for her first career goal. Classmate
Amanda Pawlikowski (Vernon, NY/Vernon Verona Sherrill) assisted on Berkowitz's tally. The Wolfpack evened the score 15 minutes later as Nicole Brown put in a pass from Jordan Fredell to send the teams into halftime with the score tied 1-1.
Keuka went ahead at 61:23, but it was short lived, as Melley headed home a pass from Berkowitz just one minute later. Neither team could break the deadlock until Melley's late-game heroics at 106:09 lifted UC to victory. Junior

Kelly Heimerle (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) had a game-high 11 saves in the win, while Kosinski made four saves for Keuka. The Pioneers return to action Friday as they travel to Potsdam, NY for a match up against Clarkson University. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
