Becki Vivacqua (Yorkville, NY/New York Mills Jr-Sr High) also scored for UC.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Pioneers are 17-5 on their home turf in the last two years and are 7-1 at Gaetano Stadium dating back to Sept. 14 last year… In that span, UC has outscored its opponents 34-9 at home.
MACKEY ON FIRE: Senior
Hannah Mackey (Locke, NY/Moravia Central) has taken her game to another level so far this season… She currently leads the conference in goals (eight), goals per game (2.0), points (17), and points per game (4.25)… She is second all-time at UC with 56 goals and currently tied for first with 136 career points.
STEELE-NORTON ON A STREAK: Senior
Louise Steele-Norton (Avondale, PA/Millbrook School) has scored one goal in each of her last four games… She is UC's all-time goal scoring leader with 64 career goals and she also is tied for first with 136 career points.
SUPER SENIORS: The senior class has accounted for every goal the Pioneers have scored this season… Apart from Mackey and Steele-Norton,
Becki Vivacqua (Yorkville, NY/New York Mills Jr-Sr High),
Chasity Eckert (Afton, NY/Afton Central), and
Alaina Stojkovski (Liverpool, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) each have two goals, while
Adriana Surprenant (Utica, NY/New York Mills Jr-Sr High) has found the back of the net once.
CASEY CHASING THE RECORD: Junior
Kells Casey (Sandwich, MA/Kimball Union Academy) needs four more wins to tie Jenny Lounsbury '05 for most all-time… Casey currently has 29 wins under her belt… She has a .636 save percentage and a 2.45 goals against average.
SCOUTING GENESEO: The Knights are 2-4 overall and are coming off a 2-1 win over Vassar on Saturday… They have had a tough road so far, as three of their six opponents are ranked in the top 15 nationally… Geneseo is led by freshman Cara Stafford, who has three goals on the season.
AGAINST THE KNIGHTS: Utica is 9-2 all-time against Geneseo and 3-2 in the last five years… Last year, Utica escaped Geneseo with a 3-2 win…

LOOKING AHEAD: The Pioneers are set for back-to-back home games this weekend… On Saturday, they will take on Empire 8 foe, Elmira College (4 p.m.) before facing nationally-ranked No. 4 Skidmore College on Sunday (2 p.m.).
