Gabriella Morreale (Utica, NY/T.R Proctor) who tallied UC's lone point of the afternoon.
Utica falls to 0-5 overall on the season and returns to action this weekend with back-to-back matches in Rochester, NY. The Pioneers will square off against Empire 8 rivals St. John Fisher and Nazareth Colleges. UC will face Fisher on Saturday at the Mendon Racquet Club before heading across town on Sunday to challenge Naz. Both matches are set to start at 1 p.m.
The Gators move their overall mark to 2-5 on the year and are back on the courts Saturday as they host St. Joseph's College for a 4 p.m. set volley.
