Pittsford, NY (September 20, 2014) – The Utica College women's tennis team lost, 8-1, Saturday to St. John Fisher in Empire 8 Conference action at the Mendon Racquet Club.
UC remains winless at 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the Empire 8 Conference while the Cardinals grab their first win of 2014 and improve to 1-4 overall including a 1-3 ledger in the Empire 8. Fisher heads to Alfred University Sunday for an E8 match against the Saxons at 1 p.m.
The Pioneers are right back in action Sunday as they remain in Rochester, NY to face Nazareth College. The Empire 8 match-up is scheduled to begin at 1 pm. The Golden Flyers are currently 1-4 overall including a 1-3 mark in E8 play.
