Aaron Nevins (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) recently became the 14
th player in program-history to join the 1,000 point club … Nevins netted 15 points on Saturday and now has 1,007 career points in 85 games played … He needs six more points to move into 13
th place all-time at UC …. Nevins currently holds fourth place on the College's all-time assist list with 336 and needs just two more to move into third place …
Senior Conor Maisch recently moved into fifth place solely in career three pointers made with 122 and now needs nine to share fourth place with Matt Baldwin (2011-2013) …
Chris Jeffers (Albany, NY/Bishop Maginn) (Albany, NY/Bishop Maginn) is just the second player in school-history to compile over 700 career rebounds and continues to close the gap between himself and all-time leader Gordon Taylor's mark of 1,109 ... Jeffers currently has 722 rebounds.
DUCKS SCOUTING REPORT: Stevens is currently 4-6 overall on the season including a 1-1 mark in Empire 8 play …. The Ducks recently snapped a four game slide with a win at home Saturday against Houghton … Last season, Stevens swept the season series over UC convincingly, winning by 14 and 25 points … SIT holds a 1-3 ledger this season on its home court …
EMPIRE 8 STANDINGS: After opening weekend in Empire 8 play, Hartwick (7-4) and St. John Fisher (9-2) are tied for the No. 1 spot both at 2-0 … Four teams presently share second place at 1-1 and include Alfred (7-3), Elmira (3-6), Ithaca (3-7) and Stevens (4-6) … Utica (4-7) and Houghton (4-5) round out the league standings at 0-2 while Nazareth had the opening round bye and has not yet played a league game.
