UTICA, NY - The Utica College women's soccer team will take on Clarkson University on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT: The Pioneers dropped an Empire 8 Conference game at home against Nazareth College 2-0 on Friday…UC has cooled off after starting the season 2-1, they have now lost the last five games and are looking to get back on track against Clarkson.
 
IN THE NET: Sophomore goalkeeper Kimberly Beattie (Levitton, NY/Division Ave) recorded eight saves last game against Nazareth… Beattie now has 32 saves this season with a .800 save percentage… Beattie has also recorded one shutout in three starts on the year… UC goalkeepers are ranked third in the conference in saves with 74 total, and saves per game averaging 6.73.
 
LEADING SCORERS: Freshman Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) has led the way for the Pioneers with four goals this season… Mazza's four goals rank sixth in the Empire 8 Conference… Freshman Abby Reilly (Brookfield, NY/Brookfield) and sophomore Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) are tied for second on the team with two goals each.
 
SCOUTING CLARKSON: The Golden Knights have a record of 6-3-1 overall this season and have a Liberty League Athletic Conference record of 0-2-1 … Clarkson is coming off a 1-1 tie against Vassar College on Saturday… Summer Gillespie and Lauren Flynn have led the way for the Golden Knights with five goals each… Madison Kather has also made an impact with three goals and three assists… Clarkson has 10 different players that have scored this season.
 
AGAINST CLARKSON: In last season's matchup, the Pioneers came out on top against the Golden Knights in a close 1-0 game… Clarkson has been a first half team this year as it has taken 70 shots in the first half leading to 12 goals, compared to 54 in the second with 11 goals… The Pioneers have been more of a second half team with 56 first half shots with five goals, and 67 second half shots leading to seven goals.
 
LOOKING AHEAD: UC's next game will be an Empire 8 match-up on the road against Alfred University on Saturday… The game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start.
