UTICA, NY – The Utica College women's basketball team is on the road as they take on the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on Wednesday. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: UC lost a close one against cross-town rival Hamilton on Monday 67-65 … Hamilton had a 33-27 lead at the half but UC had a huge third quarter outscoring the Continentals 27-16 giving Utica a 54-49 lead after three … Hamilton bounced back in the fourth outscoring the Pioneers 18-11 and giving the Continentals victory.
 
Miceli's Milestone: Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) had a season high 28 points on Monday as she eclipsed the 1,000 point mark … Miceli now has 1,004 career points in 78 career games and is the 11^th player in program history to have more than 1,000 points … She has made 135 career 3-pointers and is one of six players in program history with 100+ career 3-pointers.
 
Leading The Way: Miceli leads the team averaging 17.0 points a game while adding seven assists and six steals followed by Ashelyne Babb (Lynn, MA/Winthrop) who is averaging 13.2 points per game while adding 10 assists and 10 steals … Calypso Carty (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks West) is third on the team averaging 9.2 points per game while adding nine steals, six assists, and one block.
 
Sharing The Wealth: The Pioneers have 11 players with at least one point on the season … Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah) is averaging eight points a game while adding seven steals and a block … Ashley Mayo (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet) is averaging 7.2 points per game while chipping in six steals and five assists … Rachel Hunter (West Islip, NY/West Islip) is sixth on the team averaging 6.6 points per game while adding three steals and three assists.
 
On The Boards: UC has seven players with 10 or more total rebounds … Carty and Hunter lead the team in rebounds with each grabbing 30 total rebounds … Miceli and Babb are next on the list each hauling in 22 total rebounds a piece … Trip and Mayo have 18 and 17 total rebounds respectively followed by Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk) who has 12 total rebounds on the year.
 
Scouting MCLA: The Trailblazers are 4-2 overall this year and have yet to play a conference game … After losing the first two games of the season MCLA is currently on a four game win streak … The Trailblazers are led by Kayla Hotaling who is averaging 12.2 points per game along with seven rebounds per game, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game …Junior guard Courtney McLaughlin is second on the team with 9.8 points per game.
