OSWEGO, NY – The Utica College men's soccer team lost to host Oswego State 2-0 in non-conference action on Saturday night. Alex Sestek netted both first half goals for the Lakers to help the home team improve to 3-2 on the year.
Utica's record fell to 1-4 overall and the Pioneers will look get back on track Sunday when they host Wells College at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium (5 p.m.).
Both of the Oswego goals came within 12:11 of each other late in the first half of play. Sestak scored from 18 yards out on an assist from Bernard Osei in the 31
st minute of action. Sestek struck again in the 43
rd minute when he tapped in a crossing pass from Osei past UC goalie

Utica outshot the home team 15-11 on the day and the Pioneers also earned a 9-8 advantage in corner kicks.
Hallett stopped two shots in net for the Pioneers while Oswego goalie Todd Lawson made five saves for the Lakers.
