UTICA, NY- The Utica College Women's Soccer team looks to get back in the win column Saturday as it travels to SUNY Potsdam for a non-conference match up against the Bears. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
EXTRA TIME: Utica's last two games have gone to overtime, and have finished in a tie after 110 minutes… Most recently, the Pioneers played to a 1-1 draw against cross-town rival, SUNY Poly… Freshman
Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) netted the lone goal for UC, while
Maddisen Melley (Wappingers Falls, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) had the assist… Junior
Jamie Enders (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) finished with a game-high seven saves on the day.

Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) is currently tied for first in the Empire 8 with three goals… She leads all Pioneers with six points and has fired 12 shots.

Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) each have two goals, while
Maddisen Melley (Wappingers Falls, NY/Roy C. Ketcham),
Gabrielle Esposito (Rotterdam, NY/Mohonasen),
Ciara McIlvenney (Pleasant Valley, NY/Arlington), and
Sara Kubera (Utica, NY/Notre Dame) have each netted one goal.
SHUTTING THE DOOR: Junior
Jamie Enders (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) has racked up a 1.47 goals against average to go along with her .778 save percentage… She is third in the conference with 28 saves and currently ranks sixth on the College's career saves list with 166… Enders and sophomore
Kimberly Beattie (Levitton, NY/Division Ave) had a shutout streak that lasted 229:30, before Johnson & Wales was able to find the back of the net last weekend.
SCOUTING POTSDAM: The Bears are off to an impressive 5-1 start to the season and are currently in the midst of a five-game winning streak… Potsdam is led by freshman Olivia Seamans, who has a team-high four goals and ten points.
AGAINST THE BEARS: Utica is 6-2-1 all-time against Potsdam, however the Pioneers suffered a 2-0 defeat at Gaetano Stadium in their match up last year… The last meeting between the two teams in Potsdam finished in a 0-0 tie in double-overtime.
LOOKING AHEAD: The Pioneers return home on Tuesday as they open up Empire 8 Conference play against Hartwick College… Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
