Utica, NY -- Utica College women's soccer lost 4-0 on the road as they played Empire 8 rival Hartwick College (7-4-3 overall, 1-2-2 conference). The Pioneers now sit at 2-12 overall this season and 1-5 in conference play.
Hartwick scored two goals in the first half to take control of the game. The first goal was scored in the opening minute by Rachel Weir, as she finished with two goals on the day. Utica College was outshot in the first half 16-2. In the second half, Hartwick scored two more goals to make the final score 4-0. However, the Pioneers were able to outshoot their opponent 10-9 in the second half of the game.
