Houghton, NY – The Utica College women's soccer team visited Houghton College today as the game ended in a 0-0 tie. The Pioneers are now 2-12-1 overall and 1-5-1 in conference play this season.
 
Utica was outshot in the game 24-6 on the day. Ciara McIlvenny (Pleasant Valley, NY/Arlington) was able to place three shot attempts on goal but just could not put one in the net. Freshman goalkeeper Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) recorded 13 saves in the game. This was the ninth time this season where Wagner was able to make double digit saves and has a total of 132 saves this year.
 
The next game for the team will be its final game of the regular season. The Pioneers will be at home for Senior Day as they face off against Empire 8 foe Alfred University. The game is scheduled for October 29^th with a start time of 1 p.m.
