UTICA, NY- The Utica College women's soccer team returns home Saturday as it takes on Alfred University in the final game of the season. The opening kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: UC and Houghton played to a 0-0 tie last Saturday… Senior Ciara Mcllvenny had a team-high three shots… Freshman goalkeeper
Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) recorded 13 saves in the game, marking the ninth time this season where she recorded 10 or more saves in a single game... The Pioneers are now 2-12-1 overall and they are 1-5-1 in the Empire 8.
LEADING THE WAY: Mcllvenny and sophomore
Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) are still both the team's leading scorers with four goals apiece... Junior
Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) has a team-high six assists and 12 points on the year.
BLOCKING THE WAY: After her 13-save performance against Houghton, Wagner now has 132 saves this season... She is tied for sixth on the College's single-season saves list… She holds a .781 save percentage, and leads the Empire 8 Conference in saves per game (9.31).
SENIORS PLAYING THEIR FINAL GAME: The Pioneers will honor their six seniors prior to game time… Saturday's contest will be the final game at Utica College for seniors

Lexi Riffelbach has scored a team-best six goals, while Amanda Roberts leads the team in assists with five, and she has also netted five goals so far... Goalkeeper Sammy Jo Shanahan has totaled 98 saves in 16 starts this season.
