Utica, NY – The Utica College women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss Tuesday night at the hands of SUNY Brockport. Three second half goals paved the way for the Golden Eagles to come out victorious in this match up.
Brockport advances to a record of 6-3-1 as Utica becomes 1-10 on the season. The Pioneers will return home to Charles A. Gaetano Stadium on Saturday, as they will host SUNY Canton. The game is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
Brockport took an early lead as Kaitlyn Niedermeier scored her second goal of the season eight minutes and five seconds into the contest. However, that 1-0 lead did not last long as Utica's leading goal scorer
Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) netted her fourth goal of the season. This tied the game up at 1-1 just after the eleven minute mark. The second half was all Brockport as they scored three goals to earn themselves a 4-1 victory over the Pioneers.

Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) recorded ten saves on the night, making it the sixth time this season she has made ten or more saves in a game. Catherine Eliasson and Kimberly Lubanski both played in goal for Brockport tallying two saves.
