ANNVILLE, PA- Six different players scored on the day as the Utica College women's hockey team cruised to a 9-0 win over host Lebanon Valley College in non-conference action Sunday afternoon.  Senior Emily Coope (Phoenix, AZ/Colorado Tigers) led the Pioneers with four points on the day, including her first career hat trick.
 
The Pioneers got on the board just 2:44 into the contest as sophomore Danielle Haasbeek (Grand Forks, ND/Balmoral Hall) netted her second of the year, assisted by junior Kelly Critzer (West Salem, OH/Ohio Flames).  UC padded the score just seven minutes later as senior Gabrielle Schnepp (Northville, MI/Belle Tire) netted her first of the season off assists from Coope and Meghan Power (Windsor, Ontario/Southwest Wildcats).
 
Coope capped off the scoring for the first period at 17:13 as she found the back of the net for her third of the year.  Power and sophomore Kayla Dion (Colchester, VT/Boston Shamrocks ) had helpers on the power play goal. 
 
UC added two in the second, off the sticks of Coope and junior Samantha Husak (Jackson, MI/Grass Lake) to extend the lead to 5-0. The Pioneers then added four more in the third, as Taylor Osowski (Highlands Ranch, CO/Colorado Selects), Taylor Dion (Colchester, VT/Boston Shamrocks), Coope and Schnepp each scored in the final 20 minutes.
 
Schnepp finished with two goals and one assist, while Power and Elizabeth Dohner (Highlands Ranch, CO/Colorado Selects) had three assists each.  Critzer, Jennifer Arts (Lakeside, Ontario/London Devilettes), and Olivia Hirschy (Fort Wayne, IN/Culver Academies) each registered two assists.
 
Freshman Kayla Rios (Dexter, NY/Northern Cyclones) made four saves in 40 minutes of action in her first collegiate game.  Lebanon Valley's Jillian Moffat tied for second in NCAA Division III history as she made 90 saves on the outing. 
 
The Pioneers (6-4) have nearly a month off from competition.  They return from the winter break on Tuesday, Jan. 10 to take on SUNY Canton. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
