UTICA, NY- The Utica College women's soccer team travels across town Wednesday evening as it takes on local rival, SUNY Poly.  Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT: DeSales University scored five first half goals on its way to a convincing 7-0 victory over visiting Utica College on Saturday afternoon… Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) and Kimberly Beattie (Levitton, NY/Division Ave) combined for five saves in net.
 
LEADING THE WAY: Junior Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) leads the squad with four points (one goal, two assists) through the first four games… She also leads the team with five shots and three shots on goal.
 
HELPING OUT: Senior Ciara McIlvenny (Pleasant Valley, NY/Arlington) and sophomore Abby Reilly (Brookfield, NY/Brookfield) have also found the back of the net… McIlvenny has three points (one goal, one assist), while Reilly has tallied one goal.
 
SCOUTING SUNY POLY: The Wildcats are 4-0-1 on the season and have allowed just three goals against so far… Sophomore Nakeya Stedman leads the team with five goals and 11 points… Junior Angela Bartlett has a .600 goals against average and a .870 save percentage.
 
AGAINST THE WILDCATS: Utica is 18-1-1 against SUNY Poly in the last 20 meetings… Last year the teams played to a 1-1 draw… Jenna Mazza (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) scored the lone goal for Utica, while Jamie Enders (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) made seven saves in net. 
 
LOOKING AHEAD: UC will open up conference play on Saturday at home against St. John Fisher College… Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
