Utica, NY – The Utica College women's soccer team will be on the road Saturday, to face E8 rival St. John Fisher. This conference battle is scheduled to kick-off at 12:30 p.m.
Last Time Out: The Pioneers fell to Empire 8 opponent, Houghton, in their last game by a score of 3-0.
Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) fired four shots, including two on goal, but was unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper

Conference Picture: With one month remaining in the season before the Empire 8 Conference Tournament begins, the Pioneers are still within reach of qualifying for the postseason. Elmira (0-2-1 E8) 8. Sage (0-1-1 E8) 9. Utica (0-2 E8). With six conference games left on the schedule, the Pioneers have an opportunity to make a run at the E8 tournament.

Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) is second in the Empire 8 with 86 total saves and second with four shutouts so far this season. Wagner also owns a saves percentage of .860, which is the third highest in the conference.
Scouting Fisher: The Cardinals are sitting at a mark of 3-7-1 overall and are 1-0-1 in E8 competition. Fisher lost to the University of Rochester in its last contest, 2-0. U of R's Jorie Freitag and Annie McEachron both registered goals in the game to hand Fisher the loss. The Cardinal's goalkeeper, Melissa McGowan, made eight saves in net for the team. Hannah Buschner leads Fisher with three goals and two assists on the season. Buschner has tallied eight total points so far, ranking her 10
th in the Empire 8 in points.
Against Fisher: In the last meeting between these two teams, Fisher came away with the 4-0 victory.
Allison Wagner (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) made 13 saves in goal for the Pioneers, as they were outshot 28-13 in the contest. UC last defeated St. John Fisher during the 2007 season by a score of 3-1.
