UTICA, NY- The Utica College women's hockey team looks to get back on track this weekend as it hosts Chatham University in ECAC West action. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT: The Pioneers are coming off a tie and loss to nationally ranked No. 5 Elmira College last weekend... UC erased a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 tie against the Soaring Eagles on Saturday… The Pioneers fell at Elmira 5-2 on Sunday… Sophomore

Jane Pagano (Erie, PA/Tabor Academy) had two assists in the series, while
Taylor Osowski (Highlands Ranch, CO/Colorado Selects) and
Danielle Haasbeek (Grand Forks, ND/Balmoral Hall) each had one helper… Senior
Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) totaled 61 saves on the weekend.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Pioneers are unbeaten at home, with a 4-0-1 record this season… Utica has outscored opponents 17-6 on its home ice… The team's last home loss came on February 20 last year as it fell 2-1 to Buffalo State.
CLASS OF 2017: The Pioneers will honor their five seniors in a ceremony prior to Saturday's game…
Gabrielle Schnepp (Northville, MI/Belle Tire), Tori Pelton,
Jane Pagano (Erie, PA/Tabor Academy),
Emily Coope (Phoenix, AZ/Colorado Tigers), and
Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) have been instrumental to the program over the last four years… They have totaled 56 wins in their careers, including a program record 19 wins last season en route to a berth in the ECAC West title game for just the second time in school history.
LEADING THE WAY: Senior
Gabrielle Schnepp (Northville, MI/Belle Tire) has a team-high 15 assists and 17 points… She currently ranks fifth all-time with 104 career points, and she is fourth in the program's record book with 66 assists… Utica is 8-2-1 this year when Schnepp records at least one point.
TEAM OF THE WEEK: Sophomore
Elizabeth Dohner (Highlands Ranch, CO/Colorado Selects) was named to the D3hockey.com Team of the Week, Wednesday… Dohner scored three of Utica's four goals as it tied and lost to nationally ranked No. 4/5 Elmira College last weekend… She had both goals on Saturday to help the Pioneers come back from a 2-0 first period deficit to salvage the tie… It marked the first two-goal game of her career… She followed that up with Utica's first goal on Sunday as the Pioneers fell at Elmira... Dohner has a career-high six goals and six assists on the season.
HELPING OUT: Senior
Emily Coope (Phoenix, AZ/Colorado Tigers) is second on the squad with a career-high 14 points (seven goals, seven assists)… She needs just one goal to match her career-best mark of eight, which she accomplished last year... Junior
Meghan Power (Windsor, Ontario/Southwest Wildcats) has 13 points and she ranks second on the team with 11 helpers… She needs just one more point to match her career-high, which she accomplished her freshman season at Neumann University.
BIG D: Senior
Jane Pagano (Erie, PA/Tabor Academy) and sophomore
Kayla Dion (Colchester, VT/Boston Shamrocks ) lead the Pioneer defense that has allowed just 2.06 goals per game… Pagano is tied for fourth on the team with 12 points (six goals, six assists), while Dion is right behind her with a career-best 11 points (four goals, seven assists)… Senior
Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) has racked up a team-leading 1.57 goals against average and a .940 save percentage.
SCOUTING CHATHAM: The Cougars are 5-13-1 overall and 0-11-1 in the conference… They are coming off a pair of losses to Buffalo State last weekend… Five players have tallied 10 or more points on the season, led by junior Kasandra Petersen (14).
AGAINST THE COUGARS: UC is 10-0 against Chatham in the last five years… Last year, the Pioneers won 4-3 and 6-1…
