DELHI, NY- The Utica College volleyball team dropped a five-set heartbreaker Monday night as it fell to SUNY-Delhi, 3-2, in non-conference action.
Â
The teams traded points in the first set before Utica was finally able to gain control and come away with a 25-22 win. UC went on to take the second set 25-11 and was on its way to a win in the third set, before the Broncos went on a 12-3 run to come away with a 25-20 win in set three. The fourth set was more back-and-forth action, but the home team was able to earn the 25-19 victory to force a deciding fifth set.

With Utica trailing 14-13 in the fifth set,
Hannah Voss (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) appeared to have evened the score, but the officials ruled that she made an attack error, which gave Delhi the winning point.Â
