ALBANY, NY- The Utica College men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in non-conference action Tuesday evening. The Pioneers outshot the Panthers 13-8 on the day, but were unable to find the back of the net.
ACP scored the lone goal of the game in the 31
st minute as Jack Hanlon put in a pass from Noah Keith for his second goal of the season.
Despite outshooting the home team 10-3 in the second half, UC was not able to find the equalizer. Senior
Matthew Milograno (Marcy, NY/Whitesboro) made two saves in net, while the Panthers' Matt Houlihan turned aside six shots in the win.
The Pioneers return home Saturday as they take on Empire 8 Conference foe, Nazareth College. Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
