DELHI, NY- The Utica College volleyball team snapped a seven-game losing streak as it topped host SUNY-Delhi 3-0 in non-conference action Monday evening.

The Pioneers will look to carry their momentum into a three-game home stand this weekend, beginning Thursday evening as they host cross-town rival, SUNY Poly. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Senior
Nicole Herringshaw (Syracuse, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) was a force on both sides of the net as she led the Pioneers with 12 kills and six blocks. She now ranks second all-time with 298 career blocks at UC.Â

Sophomore
Megan Rice (Leverett, MA/Amherst Regional) chipped in offensively with seven kills of her own, followed by
Rosemarie Fesko (Goshen, NY/Central), with six. Senior
Marissa Faroni (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) had a game-high 13 assists, while
Jenna Prewasnicak (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and
Casey Sims (Schenectady, NY/Niskayuna) combined for 14 assists.

Hannah Voss (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) led the way with 14 digs, while
Meaghan Romaguera (Stone Ridge, NY/Rondout) had eight digs and Prewasnicak had four.Â
