Utica, NY – The Utica College women's tennis team is back home again on Tuesday for more Empire 8 Conference action. UC will host the Gators from Sage, with the match starting at 3:30 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: Over the past weekend the Pioneers faced off against Alfred University and Plattsburgh State. The team traveled on Saturday to face Alfred, losing 9-0 to the Saxons in conference play. Then Utica hosted Plattsburgh on Sunday, falling again by a final match score of 9-0. The Pioneers now own a record of 0-5 overall and 0-3 against Empire 8 opponents.
 
Scouting Sage: Sage is currently boasting a record of 3-1 overall and 1-1 in E8 competition. After getting tripped up by Houghton for their first loss of the season, the Gators bounced back over the weekend with a 7-2 victory over Elmira. Sage is 2-1 at home this season and look to improve upon its 1-0 record on the road this Tuesday.
 
Looking Ahead: Following Tuesday's match UC will prepare for the weekend as it heads out on the road to Rochester, NY. The team will play Nazareth College at 1 p.m. on Saturday for more Empire 8 tennis.
