Freshman Eliza Ericson (Beacon, NY/Beacon) and junior Summer Gagnon (Manchester, NH/Manchester) have each added three assists this season, which ties them for fourth in the E8.

She is also second in the conference in saves (86), saves per game (8.60), and shutouts (five),while being tied for third in goals allowed (nine). Wagner also posted a season-high 20 saves against Hamilton, which is the single-game high in the Empire 8 thus far.
Clean Sweep: Utica swept the ECAC Player of the Month honors, as Blumenstock won offensive Player of the Month and Wagner won Defensive Player of the Month.
Defensive Prowess: Outside of Wagner, the player who has seen the most field time is junior defender Amanda Thut (Carmel, NY/Carmel). She has helped lead the Utica defense which ranks second in the E8 in goals allowed (nine).
Empire 8: The Pioneers are currently tied for fourth place in the conference with a 2-1 record in the E8, a spot they share with the Sage Gators.
