Utica, NY - The Utica College Women's volleyball team fell to the Hamilton Continentals by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The Continentals notched their largest margin of victory in the first set with a 25-15 decision. The last two sets were neck and neck, but Hamilton won both by a score of 25-20 and 25-22, respectively.
Junior Meaghan Romaguera (Stone Ridge, NY/Rondout) continued her stellar 2019 campaign, posting a team-high seven kills and 13 digs. Sophomore Jenna Prewasnicak (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) also had a stand-out offensive performance, recording a team-high 11 assists.
Freshman Taylor Crowley (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) led the charge defensively, totaling a team-best 12 digs on the night.
The Pioneers have a very busy slate of games this Saturday, hosting Cazenovia College at 11 a.m. and Buffalo State at 4 p.m.
