Box Score Utica, NY - The Utica College women's tennis team topped the SUNY Delhi Broncos by a score of 8-1 to notch its second win of the season.
The Pioneers took all six singles matches, with victories from seniors
Madeline McIlnay (York, PA/York Suburban) and
Bianca Bockhaus (Shenorock, NY/Somers), freshmen
Morgan Willis (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury),
Camryn Sullivan (Camden, NY/Camden) and
Emily DePasquale (Holland Patent, NY/Holland Patent), as well as junior
Elma Selimovic (Utica, NY/T.R. Proctor).
UC also won two of the three singles matches, with Willis and Sullivan taking second singles and Selimovic and Depasquale taking third singles.
This marks the Pioneers' second win of the year over Delhi, and advances them to 2-5 thus far in 2019. Utica will return home this Friday for a home match against Hamilton College at 4:30 p.m.
