Rochester, NY - The Utica College men's and women's swim & dive team fell short Saturday afternoon in a three-team meet against Nazareth and Alfred State. Both teams were unable to secure a victory, losing by the final scores listed below:

Senior Daniela Hannah (Dalton, GA/Northwest Whitfield) tabbed the best individual finish of the meet for UC, placing second in the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 9:11.69. Sophomore Coleman Barry (Levittown, NY/Division) notched a fifth-place finish in the same event with a time of 10:27.59. Hannah also added a sixth-place finish in the 100 meter freestyle, notching a 1:12.13 finish.
Barry tallied the best finish for the men's team, finishing fourth in the 200 meter IM with a time of 2:36.49. Junior Michael Leyburn (Monson, MA/Monson) placed fifth in the same event, timing in at 2:44.63.
The squad of freshmen Phillip Ross (Newark, NY/Newark), Lucas DiLego (Oneida, NY/Oneida), Nick Massa (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford) and Leyburn impressed in the 200 meter relay, finishing in third with a time of 2:05.25.
Senior diver Matt Patton (Waterford, CT/Waterford) rounded out the UC sheet with third- and fourth-place finishes on the one meter (199.05) and three meter board (208.85), respectively.
The Pioneers remain on the road for a matchup against St. Lawrence University next Saturday at 1 p.m.
