Pedal to the Floor: The Pioneers continue to show off on both sides of the ball through their first four games, posting the 24th ranked offense nationally with 76.7 points per game off of 38 percent shooting from the field. The Utica defense has also been limiting their opponents to just 29.4 percent shooting from the field and 25 percent shooting from three-point range. This has allowed UC to keep opponents off the scoreboard as the team has allowed just 47 points per game so far this season, the 20th fewest per game in Division III.

Rookie Standouts: After opting out of last season, the Pioneers are seeing multiple new faces on Miga Court for the first time making instant impacts after an anticipated wait. Geraci and Beaulieu have been standouts in their first seasons with the team. Despite both coming off the bench, their presence can be seen as Geraci (10.3 ppg) and Beaulieu (9.5 ppg) are both among the team's top five scorers. Geraci will also go into Cazenovia fresh off of her first career double-double UC's win over MCLA.

Crash the Boards: Through four games this season, UC is ranked second nationally in offensive rebounds per game with 26.2. Overall, the Pioneers are ranked third in the nation with 58.3 total rebounds per game and their 27.2 rebound margin ranks second in Division III. Leading the way is Przygoda with 10 rebounds per game.
