ROCHESTER, NY - The Utica College men's basketball team fell on the road to Nazareth College 79-39 on Saturday evening.
Nazareth came out firing in the first half, converting on 15 of 30 shots for 38 first half points. Utica struggled offensively through the first 20 minutes, shooting 9-for-31 from the field while
Damien Call (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) himself shot 4-for-6 for eight first half points.
The Golden Flyers stayed hot following the break as they out-scored the Pioneers 41-19 in the second half.
Kobe Lufkin (Argyle, NY/Argyle) shot a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and 1-for-one from three-point over the last 20 minutes of the game.
Call led the team with 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting. Lufkin totaled seven points, all in the second half, as well as three steals.
Kimedrick Murphy (Hudson, NY/Hudson) finished the evening with six points and rebounds.
