UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's soccer team draws against Russell Sage College 0-0 on Wednesday evening. 
 
The Pioneers were able to create most of the scoring opportunities in the first half with four shot attempts, two of which on goal. Rylee Lamphere (Little Falls, NY/Dolgeville) was responsible for both of Utica's two shots on goal. The teams entered the half tied at four in the shot department, two of which were on goal for both sides. 
 
Sage came out of the gate firing in the second half as the team recorded the first four shots within the first six minutes. From there, the sides would each have eight scoring chances including the final shot belonging to Sage in the 88th minute that was saved by Courtney Connolly (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley). 
 
Connolly finished with seven saves, the second most she has recorded this season since tallying 10 against Fredonia on September 9. Connolly took charge snagging five saves in the second half. Lamphere led Utica with three shots on goal while Jenna Keeman (Douglas, MA/Douglas) had one of her own. 
 
Utica (7-3-3, 3-0-3 Empire 8) will travel to Nazareth University on Saturday, match time set for 1 p.m.
