St. Paul, MN - The Utica University water polo team fell in its two Saturday games at the CWPA Championship on Saturday. The team fell to Washington & Jefferson 12-3 and Penn State Behrend 17-7.

Bailey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill), Aimee Oswald (Reading, PA/Exeter Township), and Amelia Laible () each netted one goal. Ainsley Vyse (Glastobury, CT/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy) and Aimee Oswald (Reading, PA/Exeter Township) each recorded an assist.
 
In net, Kimmy Serio made nine saves.
 
It was a tight first quarter as W&J led just 1-0. W&J took a 4-1 lead into the half before outscoring Utica 8-2 in the second half.
 
Penn State Behrend 17, Utica 7
Amelia Laible () led the way with three goals while Kelly Waryncia (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) scored two and Ainsley Vyse (Glastobury, CT/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy) and Aimee Oswald (Reading, PA/Exeter Township) recorded one. Aimee Oswald (Reading, PA/Exeter Township) led the team with three assists while Ainsley Vyse (Glastobury, CT/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy), Kira Seaman (Fort Edward, NY/Hudson Falls), and Bailey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) each recorded one.
 
In net, Kimmy Serio made ten saves.
 
The Nittany Lions led 8-2 at the half before Utica's offense started to get going in the second half. The Pioneers scored five second goals including four in the third quarter. Penn State held on to win 17-7 after a strong fourth quarter offensively.
