EAST STROUDSBURG, PA - The Utica University women's wrestling team earns its first win of the season at the East Stroudsburg Warrior Open on Saturday morning. 

Freshman Gillian Mills (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) (143lb) won her second match of the day against Ethe Hemphill of Alfred State University by techfall in 0:44. Utica would go onto win that matchup 4-0.

In the first match of the Warrior Open for Utica, Mills fell to Melanie Erazo of Southern Virginia University by pinfall. 

Against Cedar Crest College, Mills was defeated by pinfall to Draydon Charman in just over four minutes of action in the second period. 

In Mill's fourth match of the day, she lost by pinfall to Angelina Hiller of No. 18 East Stroudsburg. 

The Pioneers travel to Collegeville, PA for the Ursinus College Open on Sunday, January 14 at 8:30 a.m.
