ONEONTA, NY – The Utica University men's wrestling wrapped up at the Oneonta Tri-Meet on Saturday afternoon. The team fell to Oneonta and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
 
Trevor Cortright (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) at 133lb picked up Utica's win against Oneonta. He defeated Danny Pogi by fall in 1:26. In his second match against WPI, Cortright beat Charlie Pavis by fall in 3:48. With these two wins, this puts him at 14-2 on the season.
 
Logan Banks (West Hartford, CT/Conard) (133lb), Marco Milankovic (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park) (133lb) and Rian Kirker (Red Hook, NY/Red Hook) (133lb) each wrestled unattached. Banks defeated Nelith Siriwardhana of Oneonta by fall in 2:41. Milankovic won over Devin McNamara of Oneonta by fall in 1:44 and Kirker finished Konnor Rosenzweig by fall in 0:54.
 
The Pioneers host their first ever meet on Saturday, January 4 beginning at 1 p.m. The Tri-Meet will take place at Miga Court in the Athletic Center. St. John Fisher and Elmira College will be in attendance.
