HIRAM , OH – The Utica University women's wrestling team completed the Hiram College Terrier Round Robin on Sunday.
 
Rebekah May (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) at 131lbs placed third and scored nine points for Utica. She defeated Anna Sheehan of Alfred State by fall in 1:05. Braylin Jones (Payson, UT/Salem Hills)(138lb) placed second and scored 35 team points. She won three consecutive matches, all by pin. Jones defeated Akira Jones of Indiana Tech (fall 2:44), Annalis Ortez of University of Rio Grande (fall 2:42) and Brooke Walshe of Alfred State (fall 5:06).
 
Gillian Mills (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) (138lb) placed fourth and scored 21 team points for the Pioneers. She won her first two matches, one by fall and one by tech fall. She began the day by securing a victory over Sian Rogers of Manchester College by fall in 1:11. Mills followed that up with a 10-0 win over Emily Brown of Alfred State.
 
Olivia LaPoint (Lake George, NY/Lake George) (145lb) placed third and scored 12 team points. She won by fall over Ethe Hemphill of Alfred State by fall in 1:37. LaPoint then defeated Rilee Swaim of Manchester College by decision, 10-6.
 
The Pioneers host their first ever Meet on Sunday, January 12 beginning at 10 a.m. The Meet will take place on Miga Court in the Athletic Center.
