PROVIDENCE, RI - The Utica University gymnastics team fell to Rhode Island College 190.475 to 183.100 on Sunday afternoon.

Alexis Castellaneta (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) continued her floor exercise dominance fresh off her Gymnastics-Now.com Gymnast of the Week honors earning a 9.750 to finish fourth in the event.
Grace Marra (St. James, NY/Smithtown East) also did splendidly, turning in a 9.675 to finish sixth.

The duo of
Alexis Castellaneta (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) and
Grace Marra (St. James, NY/Smithtown East) shined again in the vault taking home the top two spots. Castellaneta scored a 9.650 with Marra earning a 9.600.
Madison Reed (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) and
Ryli McGorry (Orefield, PA/Parkland) were not far behind, each scoring a 9.350 wrapping up a successful event for the Pioneers.

Marra also did great in the balance beam recording a wonderful 9.525 which was the third best mark in the event.
Haley Miller (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) finished tied for fifth with an impressive 9.425.

Olivia Rosen (Massapequa, NY/Plainedge) and
Christina Troche (Manalapan, NJ/Saint John Vianney) were the top two finishers for Utica in the uneven bars event with Rosen earning an 8.975 and Troche an 8.875.

Marra and Castellaneta finished three-four in the all-around results with Marra totaling a 37.450 and Castellaneta earning a 37.200.

Utica (0-2) will travel to clash with SUNY Brockport on Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m.
