MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Justice Brantley (Catskill, NY/Catskill) of the Utica University men's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region III Second Team as announced by the league on Tuesday. 
 
Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools and conferences. There were 812 players nominated nationwide with a predetermined number of players in each region being voted on by Sports Information Directors to earn the final honors.
 
Brantley is coming off a second consecutive Empire 8 First Team selection, Empire 8 Tournament MVP, and led the Pioneers to a second-straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearance. He also previously earned NABC District III First Team honors for his incredible 2023-2024 campaign. This season he became the 18th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points while averaging 17.2 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game and shot over 37 percent from beyond the arc.
