ROCHESTER, NY - Jane Fahy (Oriskany, NY/MVCC/Oriskany) of the Utica University women's track and field team has been named Empire 8 Co-Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league on Monday. 
 
2x All-American Jane Fahy (Oriskany, NY/MVCC/Oriskany) broke her own school and Empire 8 conference record in shot put at the RPI Capital District Classic. Fahy's throw of 14.77m placed her first at the meet and cleared her previous outdoor shot put personal best of 14.42m.
 
Fahy and the track and field program will be back in action heading to Rochester, NY for the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships beginning on Friday, May 3 at 3 p.m.
