ROCHESTER, NY - Hannah Allison (Herkimer, NY/Herkimer) of the Utica University women's outdoor track and field team has been named the Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday. 
 
Allison stole the show in the high jump while tying the school record at the Farley Inter Regional Meet hosted by Williams College on Saturday, May 11. Allison's high jump of 1.60m is now a new personal best and would sit in a tie for 12th among AARTFC competitors based on performance lists from the start of Saturday's competition. She was fourth against a challenging field while tying the second highest mark before tiebreakers were enacted to determine a finish order. 
 
Those qualified are set to compete at the All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championships at SUNY Cortland this Wednesday and Thursday.
