CORTLAND, NY - Basketball Coaches Association of New York Inc. is hosting their 43rd Annual Coaches Clinic at SUNY Cortland, September 27th at 10 a.m. Utica Men's Basketball Head Coach Sean Coffey is going to be a headline speaker at this year's event.
 
This past season, Coach Coffey completed his eighth season as head coach of the Pioneers. Coffey took the reins ahead of the 2016-2017 season. In his first eight seasons as head coach, Coffey has led the Pioneers to a 139-60 overall record and has brought his team to seven Empire 8 Conference Tournaments. Last season, the Pioneers captured the Empire 8 Conference Championship with a 97-90 win over Nazareth. Coffey's Pioneers have also taken two trips to the Division III NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in his time at the helm.
 
BCANY is a service organization that gives young athletes an opportunity to work with college coaches and players while also learning the game of basketball in general.
