UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's soccer team jumps back into conference play this week starting with a trip to Rochester, NY on Wednesday to take on the St. John Fisher University Cardinals at 7 p.m. Utica then returns home for Senior Day against the Elmira College Soaring Eagles on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Last Time Out: The team dropped their first conference matchup against Houghton University 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. The match was resumed on 9/22 due to weather conditions on 9/21.
Rylee Lamphere (Little Falls, NY/Dolgeville) led the Pioneers with two shots, both on goal.
Natalia Bell (Cortland, NY/Groton) tallied three shots as she's collected five in two games.
Amber Piersma (Cassville, NY/Mount Markham) registered two shots; she now ranks in the top two in league play through eight matches (29).

Where We Stand: Through the first week of conference play, the Pioneers find themselves in the middle of the pack in the competitive Empire 8 Conference. Utica has recorded 100 shots oso far this season, averaging 14.29 shots per game. Of those 100 shots, 53 of them have fallen on goal, with an average of 7.57 shots on goal per game. In terms of goalkeeping, the Pioneers find themselves in the five in the conference. Utica goalkeepers have combined for 34 saves this season with a .756 save percentage.Â

Amber Piersma (Cassville, NY/Mount Markham) who currently has recorded the second most shots in the conference this season with 26.
