UTICA, NY - The Utica University men's wrestling team hosts the Utica Tri-Meet for its first home match in program history on Saturday, January 4 at 1 p.m. Utica will be joined by Elmira College and St. John Fisher and the Tri-Meet will take place on Miga Court in the Clark Athletic Center.

In the Ranks: Both
Trevor Cortright (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) and
Xavier DeJesus (Hornell, NY/Canisteo-Greenwood) are ranked regionally in the National Wrestling Coaches Association. Cortright, at 133lb, is ranked seventh overall in Region I, while DeJesus is seventh at 125lb. Cortright is currently 15-2 on the season and has not dropped a match since falling in the RIT Invitational on December 7. DeJesus continues to make a name for himself as he is one of two freshmen ranked in the region while all others are upperclassmen.

About Elmira & Fisher: The Soaring Eagles are 3-7 in dual action with their only wins against Keystone College (Twice) and Rowan College. Fisher is 1-1 in dual play with their lone win against Alfred State.
