FROSTBURG, MD - The Utica University women's wrestling team completed their day at the Bobcat Open at Frostburg University on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Jazmene Molina (La Mirada, CA/Valencia) led the way for Utica, taking fifth place overall in the 124lb bracket. Molina fell in the semifinal to Montana Delawder, 5-2. She started the day by defeating Jewleysa Funakoshi of Emmanuel University 16-6 (tech fall). In the second round, she dominated Cailan Drake of Sacred, winning by fall in 0:53.  She totaled eight points in the first period and two in the second. In her last match, Molina fell to Alexandra Fitzgerald of Sacred Heart, 4-0. 
 
Rebekah May (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) at 131lb, took home a win against Leigh-Anne Verburg of Southern Virginia by fall, 14-3. Olivia LaPoint (Lake George, NY/Lake George) (145lb) picked up a win against Ava Torres of Presbyterian (5-2). 
 
The Pioneers get set for the Division III National Invitational, hosted by Augustana University in Rock Island, IL. The Invitational will take place on Saturday, February 8 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, February 9 at 11 a.m.
