ROCHESTER, NY - Pioneer center Jakob Breault (Acton Vale, QC/Alaska-Fairbanks (NCAA DI)) brought in yet another double during this week's UCHC and Empire 8 awards cycle, snagging a sole Player of the Week nod for the Empire 8 while slotting in as the Co-Player of the Week for the UCHC along with Chatham's Nick Cyprian. 

Breault won the illustrious double for the second week straight, taking home the pair of accolades after showing out against Brockport, the same team against which he won his initial award double back in November of 2024. Breault did it all against Brockport this weekend, putting together another pair of monster performances to push the Pioneers 2025 record to 7-0 and complete the season sweep over the Golden Eagles. The Pioneers' vaunted center once again showed out, having a four point weekend on the back of three goals and an assist to help his team to a 2-0 weekend. Breault's faceoff finesse also presented itself in major fashion, winning 31 of his 45 faceoff opportunities to cement his huge hold on the UCHC faceoff win percentage lead. The Quebec native posted a 68.9% win rate on the draw in the Pioneers' undefeated weekend, helping the team stay atop the conference standings. Breault has been Brockport's worst nightmare this season, getting five goals and four assists while winning faceoffs at a 73.4% rate over the first year UCHC participant.

This is Breault's third week achieving both honors, with the Pioneers' alternate captain capturing each award three times so far this season for a total of six awards.
