UTICA, NY - The Utica men's and women's hockey teams had another pair of successful seasons during this past winter, honoring the 25th season of each program with exciting postseason runs. Much like years prior, both teams experienced significant success off the ice, with 23 athletes from each team named to the UCHC All-Academic Team.
 
For All-Academic consideration, member schools submit the names of players who meet the conference's eligibility criteria. To be eligible, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2025-26 academic year.
 
23 players on each team managed to satisfy this criterion, gaining all-academic recognition while also contributing to some outstanding team GPAs, as the men's team secured a spring average of 3.76, while the women's team posted a spring GPA of 3.57. Both GPAs were outstanding and ranked among the best in the Empire 8 across all sports.
