UTICA, NY - Ryan Considine (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) and Grace Stuhlman (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) have been named the Pioneer Athletes of the Week for the week of March 10th, 2025.
 
Considine tallied six goals and five assists last week while also landing 10 shots on goal. Against Hamilton, Considine tallied an assist with four total shots, two of which fell on goal. Considine was also able to come away with two ground balls against the Continentals. The sophomore's magnum opus, though, came against Castleton. In the Saturday showcase, Considine put together a standout performance, finding the back of the net six times on eight shots on goal. Considine was also able to spread the wealth, registering four assists. The Syracuse native was also named the Co-Empire 8 Player of the Week for his efforts.
 
The men's lacrosse team will be off for spring break this week but will return next week with a trio of tilts against SUNYAC competition.
 
Stuhlman, on the other hand, accrued an array of productive plays on offense during the team's split against a duo of SUNYAC opponents last week. Stuhlman secured nine goals and an assist during the two-game slate, scoring in bunches and forming the focal point of the offense in their 17-14 win over Oneonta on Saturday. In that second matchup, the Whitesboro native rattled off eight scores, sparking a late surge for the team in their big comeback win.
 
The women's lacrosse team will be off this week during the school's spring break, but will return next week for a Wednesday matchup against Plattsburgh.
